Diploma in Stress Management

INTRODUCTION

The Diploma programme consists of a combination of three Certificate programmes undertaken online. The programmes are delivered over the Zoom Platform. This modular programme is designed to be flexible thereby allowing learners to fit the programmes around their work schedules.

AIM

To provide Learners with an understanding of the theory, research and practice of stress management.

OBJECTIVES

All of the objectives shown for the component courses are objectives for this programme.

CERTIFICATE PROGRAMMES

 

  1. Certificate in Coaching (One 5-day module) 

  2. Certificate in Stress Management and Performance Coaching (Three 2-day modules) 

  3. Certificate in Relaxation and Health Coaching (Two 2-day modules)

WHO IS THE PROGRAMME FOR?

The programme is suitable for coaches, complementary practitioners, consultants, counsellors, psychologists, psychotherapists, trainers and other health and caring professionals who wish to learn more about the theory, research and practice of stress management. The programme applies a cognitive-behavioural approach to stress, health and relaxation coaching and training.

The Enrolment and administration fee for this Diploma programme is £100. Each certificate programme has its own fee structure. 

ASSIGNMENT

Each certificate module has a Post Programme Review that needs successful completion. For the Diploma programme there is additional course reading, the submission of two book reviews and a Post Programme Review focusing on the overall programme.

The team are Professor Stephen Palmer PhD CPsychol, Dr Siobhain O’Riordan PhD CPsychol and Nick Edgerton CPsychol who are Chartered Psychologists.
